Pantai Hospital, formerly known
as Hospital Pantai Mutiara, is the first private hospital in the Bayan Lepas
of Penang Island. Located at the junction of Jalan Tengah with Persiaran
Mahsuri, it is ideal to serve the needs of Bayan Lepas vicinity.
Pantai Hospital is one of the
hospital of Pantai Holdings. It is jointly owned by Pantai Holdings Bhd.,
Koperasi Tunas Muda Bhd and Geh Sim Wah Sdn. Bhd. |
It was established in 1997 with
50 beds. Since then, the hospital has expanded and today has 250 beds and 31
specialist doctors. The hospital was awarded the MS ISO 9001:2000
Certification by SIRIM QAS in 2002 and 2003. They also received a full 3
years Hospital Accreditation Award by the Malaysia Society for Quality in
Health (MSQH).
Getting there
Pantai Hospital is at Jalan Tengah. You can take Rapid Penang bus Nos. 302,
305, 306, 307, 308, 401, 502 and U705 to Jalan Tengah.
