Han Chiang College (HCC) is a
not-for-profit institution of higher learning that offers quality
education at affordable fees for the community. Since its
establishment in 1999, it has become a renowned College in the
country catering to the educational needs of local and
international students.
HCC currently offers one
Foundation, eight Diploma and four 3+0 Degree Programmes.
The Foundation programme, launched in 2010, is Foundation in
Communication. The Diploma programmes which are all accredited by
the MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency). |
The Diploma accredited by the MQA
include Diploma in Mass Communication, Diploma in Broadcast Journalism,
Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Logistics
Management, Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Multimedia
Communication Design and Diploma in Chinese Studies.
The 3+0 Degree programmes are in collaboration with internationally
recognised universities in Australia and the UK. The programmes include 3+0
Bachelor of Communication with the University of Southern Queensland,
Australia, 3+0 BA (Hons) Business Management, 3+0 BA (Hons) Broadcasting &
Journalism with the University of Wolver Hampton, UK and 3+0 BA (Hons)
Creative Digital Media with Teesside University.
HCC's programmes are forward-looking and career oriented and classroom
teaching is always complemented with real-life projects as the College is
always in close liaison with the corporate sector.
Han Chiang College traces its origins to the journalism programme offered by
Han Chiang High School through its post-secondary education in 1978. The
programme successfully produced a good number of journalists for the media
industry.
From Journalism, the College has expanded its horizons and made its foray
into other disciplines such as Mass Comunication, Business, Information
Technology, Chinese Studies and Multimedia.

If you are coming by public transport, you may take Rapid Penang Bus 1201,
202, 203, 204, 304, 502 to reach Han Chiang College.
